Mrs. Toth
Name: Dawn Toth
Grades Taught: Grades 1-2 and the Music Coordinator for the church and school
Born: Manitowoc, WI
Raised: Manitowoc, WI
Education: I had the privilege of attending parochial schools from Kindergarten through college. I was a student at First German Lutheran School from Kindergarten through grade 8. From there I attended Manitowoc Lutheran High School. My college education took me to New Ulm, MN where I received my teaching degree from Dr. Martin Luther College.
Hobbies and Interests: My love for music is one of my biggest interests. I have played the piano since the third grade and continue to use that interest to praise God in our church services at St. Paul’s. Recently I began taking violin lessons and enjoy that challenge as well. In my free time I love to garden.
What you like most about being a teacher and called worker: The thing that brings me the most joy is standing in front of the class and sharing the good news of what their Savior did for them. Teaching the lesson about Jesus death and resurrection still brings tears to my eyes, even after more than 25 years teaching it.
Your message to parents considering St. Paul's school: At St. Paul’s your child will be taught all of the basic academic classes by Christian dedicated teachers. Above and beyond that, the Word of God is taught in its truth and purity. I would love to teach your child and have a chance to plant that seed of faith or nurture it through the hearing of God’s Word.
